I read Amelia Earhart for 30 minutes. In one selection of the text the main/central idea was Amelia's little sister called her "Meelie" because she couldn't say Amelia. A detail from the text that supports this is: Amelia had a little sister named Muriel. When Muriel was a baby she could not say Amelia, so she just called her Meelie. That was stuck with her the rest of her life.
