The Mouse And The Motorcycle By: Beverly Cleary Pb,pb,bbbbb went Ralph the mouse as he zoomed down the hall on his motorcycle! This story is mainly about even though something went wrong, to creatures became great friends.
In the beginning, Ralph the mouse went out of his mouse hole in room 215 and on the bed side table he spotted something he had never ever seen before. It was a bright red toy motorcycle and from the moment he saw it, he wanted to ride it. So, Ralph climbed up the telphone cord and got on the motor cycle. He tryd to ride it but, he FELL INTO THE WAST BASKET!!
So, after a little while in the wast basket, a little boy came into the room and found that his motorcycle was gone! Soon the little boy found Ralph in the wast basket and got him out. He notced that the handel bar of his motorcycle was bent!
The little boy’s name was Keith and he taught Ralph how to ride it. He also let Ralph ride durning the night. Keith brought food to Ralph and his family. One day Ralph lost the motorcycle and Keith was upset. Ralph felt really bad, but even though Ralph lost the motorcycle, Keith still brought food to Ralph and his family.
One day Keith got really sick and then Ralph’s family just thought that” Oh, no! What is going to happen to me with out any food from room service?” While Ralph’s mom was worried about Keith and wanted to give him something for giving them food. Keith’s parents could not find an asprin for Keith and so Ralph thought that if he found an asprin then Keith would feel better. Ralph went on a big hunt for an asprin and he finally found one. He gave it to Keith and he felt better. Keith said’’ even though you lost my motorcycle, you are still a great friend.’’ And Keith gave Ralph the motorcycle to keep. 3-30-11 I read Whales for 15 minutes. The main idea was whales sometimes swim in groups and sometimes don't. It made me feel conectted to the book beacuse I am sometimes with a group and sometimes not. 3-31-11 I read 100 Facts on Dogs and Puppies for 15 minutes. The main idea was unusual breeads. It made me feel interested because you don't usual breeads. There are a lot of cool breeads in this book.

I read Dolphins for 15 minutes. The main idea was dolphins have been around a long time. It made me think about dinousars because they were around for a long time.

I read Sea Turtles for 10 minutes. The main idea was sea turtles and turtles are differant. It made me think about my brothers turtle Fastey.

I read Tropical Fish for 10 minutes. The main idea was Ribben eels can live a long time. It made me think about the fish at my mom's lab because they have fish that they said live a long time. 4-10-11 Swish swish swish went the water as the dolphins were jumping out of the water. This book is mainly about the life style of dolphins.
In the beginning, the book was interducing dolphins. The book was talking about the main things you might need to know about dolphns like: Dolphins live under water, but they are not fish they are mamils. Then it started talking about the parts of a dolphin. Some of the things the book was saying were '' Dolphins have a dorsal fin and two flippers. There tail ends in flukes'', and stuff like that.
In the next chapter the book was talking about '' Dolphins have lots of specail skils.'' Some things the book said were '' they are great swimmers. They can swim 3 times faster than a human! Dolphins are great jumpers, too. They can leap 20 feet in the air!'' Would you like to have a dolphin as a pet? Well they are really good friends! ( they are pretty smart, too.) Are you a playful one? Well if you are and you are, looking for a friend to play with, go find a dolphin! "Dolphins are very playful!"
Did you know that dolphins live in a group? Well they do. They live in something called a pod. "A pod usally has only one male called a bull and sevral females called cows. There are babies, too. They are called calves." The dolphin pods do lots of things together like: swim, hunt and play together. Mother dolphins take very good care of their calves. Their mothers give them milk. They also teach their calves about the ocean.
I really enjoied this book and I think if you are interested in animals, you should read this book. It was full of facts and I learned a lot about dolphins. Like I said before " This book is mainly about the life style of dolphins'' I recimend this book for any one who likes animals.
