I read Thomas Alva Edison for 00:17:02:00.
The Main idea was light can be made however, because of oxygen... The filament will OVERHEAT and die a detail from this is that Edison discovered this problem of air but, when the air as pumped out it lasted 6 minutes which is not long enough. There is more air,the filament and glass walls give more air.

Cool!

I don't understand what you mean when you write "however because of oxygen"- can you explain? Also, define "feedback" for me. I want to make sure you know what it means. Nice pictures. -MsPJK- Any Feedback

No, I mean, look up the definition and write it below:-MsP

I read Thomas Alva Edison for 00:17:92:99
The Main idea was in 1914 there was a fire :-( at his lab. Which made an invention burn down as well. A detail from this is:Then on 1914 Dec. 15 there was a fire and the street horn was never created ever after this. ( A street horn is what WOULD have meant the lights ( later ) would change on a street pole )>>>>2-9-11

Ok Josh, I know you think feedback doesn't do any good, but as your teacher it's my job to get you ready for the OAA. Feedback helps you get better. My feedback here is that I think your main idea is too long. You main idea is the biggest idea that comes out of the text, the biggest thing the author wants you to take away from the text. Don't you think the biggest idea would be that "the street horn was never created" and the rest of what you wrote would be supporting details? Think about this and write me back with your thoughts below. -MsP
What! tra, what a bad thing for me.
What does this mean?-MsP
It means Pity

I read Thomas Alva Edison for 00:30:67:00. The main idea was When he died, Mina would send a signal. A detail from this: When he died, Mina would turn the light by his window off. On October 13,1931, the light went off in his window, this wonderful man had died :-( . On October 22, the president said to take a moment of great sadness--and darkness--to honor what he did,and made, at 10:00 that night. Everybody turned off their electric lights

Ok, Josh, this is a little lengthy. Your supporting details all need to relate back to the main idea. The thing about the president doesn't completely relate back. Also, as your audience, I had some trouble knowing what you meant by "when the time came"- you need to explain things like this to your audience right at the start of your writing. -MsP

I read Thomas Alva Edison for 00:30:63:37. The main idea was Tom Changed machines, to work better, to get ideas. A detail from this is that By fixing some machines he got the idea for the phog*ap*. ( I'm not telling! ... Fine, he got the phonograph idea. )

2-16-11
I Read Thomas Alva Edison for 00:30:66:94. The main idea is Tom tried 10,000 times to make the light bulb. A detail from this is that Edison tried 10,000 times, but not just that he used: Carbon,Metal, Splinters of wood, Human hair, Corn silk, Rubber, Cork, Hemp, Silk, Straw, Paper, Rock, and Grass.

I read Gerimo Stilton Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye for 00:16:34:64. The Main Idea is treasure is ( uh what's the word? ) NOT always the real cool stuff. For example if you rush through to get:Money, antiquities, or anything else, You don't get to see the cool parts on the way. Like a rare bush, for instance. A detail from this is: Look! Look! There it is the emerald eye! It wasn't any money, It was a view!

I read Gerimo Stilton Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye for 00:16:44:23. The main idea was Emerald green populates the place. A detail that supports this is: Emerald green trees and deep green water, green plants and grass. What a relaxing place! Almost a green paint brush painted this place! Green moss and one thing stands out from the moss or grass and plants, the tall trees and water puddles, Was a huge waterfall.

I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth by Jeff Kinney for 00:32:68:73. This book is strange in a inspiring distinctive way.

This book has many strange stories. This is an example: "The teacher said you never know who's going to offer you a cigarette, it could even be your best friend." After Rowley heard that, he wouldn't walk on the same side of the street as me for a solid month. You learn or remember not to smoke and anyone could offer a cigarette. Then some funny parts.

Let's compare. Haunted Ohio is a in-the-middle book, are ghosts true or not...all or nothing...by withstanding realty DOAWK:TUT 49% HO 0 or 70% You are chancy at this case. But Haunted Ohio is in a better case. DOAWK:TUT percentage can go down. Read it a lot, it gets boring. HO can too, but not as fast. What is with Fiction? In most cases, people choose fiction because it's always fun.
(^^^THIS DOE'S NOT ALWAYS OCCOUR WITH TYPE OF BOOK, THIS IS ONE OF MANY EXAMPLES^^^)

A fact that makes this distinctive is there are usually chapters in a neat form, here it's written like a 12 year old. Guess what? No chapters either!. I would recommend this book to all people who enjoy jokes, or happiness.

A lot of the stuff in that book is highly meant to be read by people 12 and up, I mean it. The author even: Didn't put in the title for chapter 8, and part of the chapter, BECAUSE it's inappropriate.
(2) Even if you don't believe me, I saw comments on a blog saying their parents won't let them read it. And there are 14, 15. They sneak on at school. I can't give you the web site because it has the entire book on it.
