MatildaBy:Roald Dahl Matilda is a great book about a 5 year old girl who is very smart and she can read anything. Her parents and her brother are very meen to Matilda and they do not even care about her. Miss Honey is Matilda's nice kindergarten teacher who does not get along with the mean principal Miss Trunchbull (A.K.A. The Trunchbull, she HATES kids!) Matilda started school and Miss Honey sees right away that she is a genius, but her parents and The Trunchbull think that she can't possibly be that smart and she must be cheating. But really it is her dad who is the cheat because he is a dishonest used car salesman. Matilda's parents and The Trunchbull do not believe Miss Honey that Matilda is brilliant and they continue to be mean to Matilda. Matilda developes special powers where she can move things with her mind, and she uses those powers to get back at everyone that has been mean to her.
