1st book: I read Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein for ninety-three minutes. In one section of the text, the main/ central idea was that there was one sister for sale. A few details that support this main/ central are: The sister was a crying and spying sister, the older brother wasn't kidding about selling her, and her brother wanted to know who would start the bidding. It made me feel sad for the sister because her brother wanted to sell her.

2nd: I read George's Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl for thirty-seven minutes. In one section of the text, the main/ central idea was that George found it fascinating to stand there and watch what it was doing to the old hag. A few details that support this are: George told himself his medicine was marvelous, he wondered what would happen to his Grandma next, and his old hag of a grandma was growing. In the end, I felt happy for George because he finally got rid of his grandma.

3rd: I read The BFG by Roald Dahl for thirty minutes. In one section of the text, the main/ central idea was: "Under the blanket, Sophie waited." A detail that supports this main/ central idea is: "After a minute or so, sh lifted the corner of the blanket and peeped out." I wasn't able to read all in the book, but I recommend it to anyone who would like to read it!!

4th: I read Esio Trot for six-teen minutes.
