Hello, I am Titus Baker, and this is my book report on Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney. This is one of many books I read this spring, but I chose it for two reasons, I had already read it three times, and because it was funny, it had middle school drama, and because the main character is so different from me. Now you can lie back and enjoy the ride.
,
This is the paragraph about why I thought the book was funny. A sentance that I thought was funny was this: "I try to explain all this popularity stuff to my friend Rowley (who is probably hovering right around the 150 mark, by the way), but I think it just goes in one ear and out the other with him."
This is the paragraph about why I thought it had drama. This is an example from the book that I thought had drama: "But I guess he had his heart set on rolling that snowball down the hill, and he was really mad. But get this: Rowley was mad at ME for what DAD did. I told Rowley he was being a big baby, and we got in a shoving match. Right when it looked like we were going to get in an all-out fight, we got ambushed from the street."
This is the paragraph about why I thought the main character, Greg Heffley, is so different from me. First of all, Greg only has one good friend; I have many good friends. Second, Greg is mean to his good friend and always plays pranks on his friend; I do not do that. And lastly, Greg hates school. So that pretty much zeros us out as having much in common.
I really enjoy this book series by Jeff Kinney. I find myself laughing and imagining all the crazy things that happen to Greg and wonder what I would do if I were him. But since I told you we have little in common, I guess I will just keep reading, and reading, and reading...
Hello, I am Titus Baker, and this is my book report on The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis. I liked this book for three reasons: I thought it was exciting, it was mysterious and it contained many elements of magic which I like. So come with me through the wardrobe of coats into the land of Narnia.
This is the paragraph about why I thought the book was exciting. In one part, Lucy and Susan, two of the main characters, have just arrived at a battle with Aslan the lion and his army of creatures. They have come to win the battle against the White Witch who has been using her magic to turn people into stone and has made it forever winter in Narnia. "Then with a roar that shook all Narnia, from the western lamp-post to the shores of the eastern sea the great beast (Aslan) flung himself upon the White Witch."
This is the paragraph about why I thought the book was mysterious. Lucy, her sister and two brothers, went to live with the professor in the countryside during the war. While exploring the old house, Lucy went into a room with only a wardrobe in it. Lucy opened the wardrobe and stepped into it. She kept walking, holding her hands out, and expected to feel the back of the wardrobe. But she didn't so she kept on walking. And then, wondering why she hadn't ran into the back, she opened her eyes and found that she was in a wintery forest.
This is the paragraph about why I thought the book contained lots of magic. The four siblings (Lucy, Edmond, Susan and Peter) have just found their way into Narnia and Edmond snuck away and went with the White Witch. While Edmund and the witch were in the White Witch's sleigh they found a group of talking animals feasting. When the animals accidentally did something to offend the witch, with a wave of her wand, she turned them to stone.
So as you probably can see, The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, by C. S. Lewis, was a fun book to read. If you read this book, I believe that you will find that it creates an amazing, magical and fun world in your head. If you liked this book or this book report then you would love the entire series. Here is a list of the other books in the series: The Magician's Nephew The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe The Horse and His Boy Prince Caspian The Voyage of the Dawn Treader The Silver Chair The Last Battle

Hello, I am Titus Baker, and this is my book report on Prince Caspian by C. S. Lewis. This is the 4th book of The Chronicles of Narnia Series. I liked it for three reasons: it was long, adventurous, and magic can call people from one world to another.
This is the paragraph about why I liked it because of its length. For starters, it had 223 pages as a whole. Secondly, each page had fairly small print that took up the whole page, and lastly, most of the story was taken up by Trunpkin, the dwarf, telling Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy the story of Caspians life
.
This book was full of adventure. In the novel, there were many small battles. I am going to take a quote from the book, a sentence used in one of the battles: "'The High King has pricked him in the armpit,' said Caspian, still clapping. 'Just where the arm-hole of the hauberk let the point through. First blood.'
I really like how C. S. Lewis used magic in this story. In the book, the four siblings were called into Narnia from a world that we are more familiar with. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are in the train station and they are waiting for the train to take them to boarding school. "It was an empty, sleepy, country station and there was hardly anyone on the platform except themselves. Suddenly Lucy gave a sharp little cry, like someone who has been stung by a wasp. 'What's up, Lu?' said Edmund--and then suddenly broke off and made a noise like 'Ow!' 'What on earth--" began Peter, and then he too suddenly changed what he had been going to say. Instead, he said, 'Susan, let go! What are you doing? Where are you dragging me to?' 'I'm not touching you,' said Susan. 'Someone is pulling me. Oh--oh--oh--stop it!' Everyone noticed that all the others' faces had gone very white. 'I just felt the same,' said Edmund in a breathless voice. 'As if I were being dragged along. A most frightful pulling--ugh! it's beginning again.' 'Me too,' said Lucy. 'Oh I can't bear it.' 'Look sharp,' shouted Edmund. 'All catch hands and keep together. This is magic--I can tell by the feeling. Quick!' 'Yes,' said Susan. 'Hold hands. Oh, I do wish it would stop--oh!'
I loved this book by C. S. Lewis, it had all the things that you could possibly want fitted in one, many paged book. I know that if anyone reads this book, or even just the series in general, they will love it, from the first letter to the last period. This book is truly a piece of art written by a wonderful author. Well, it looks like this is over, but I still think that even though I am not done with the entire series yet, I will keep on reading, and reading, and reading.
Hello, I am Titus. This is my book report on The Magicians Nephew by C. S. Lewis. I liked It because I thought the author did a good job.
One way C. S. Lewis did a good job on was he was very discriptive. When he was describing Digory (one of the main characters) face, he said: "The face of the strange boy was very grubby. It could hardly have been grubbier if he had first rubbed his hands in the earth, and then had a good cry, and then dried his hands."
Another thing the author did well on was he really activated imagination to make this book. The craziness was out of this world, literally. The main characters traveled to two different worlds in the book.
The third thing C. S. Lewis did well was he was really good at mixing medievil times with modern times. I say this because the story starts out in England then they cross over into a magical medievil world. Some people might not think that's very cool but I found it very interesting.
Well, this is the conclusion paragraph. Like I've said in every other report on this series, I would recemend this author to anyone. Well, that's five paragraphs. BYE!!!!
